Connecting and importing your catalogue

Connecting your Shopify store or your XML or CSV feed address, starting the import and following the sync history.

1. Choosing the source

After creating your organisation you choose your source on the 'Where does your catalogue come from?' screen. Shopify and XML feed are available today; CSV file upload and WooCommerce show as 'Soon'.

2. Shopify store

  1. Store name, currency and store addressThe address has the *.myshopify.com form.
  2. Continue to ShopifyShopify shows a permission screen; only permission to read products is asked.
  3. Come backYour store shows as connected on the Stores page.
  4. Import productsWith the 'Import products' button.

3. XML or CSV feed address

  1. Add a storeStore name, feed format (XML or CSV/TSV), feed address and currency.
  2. SaveNothing is downloaded when you save; the address is stored.
  3. ImportWith the 'Import' button next to the source on the Stores page.
  • XML: RSS 2.0, Google Merchant (g:) fields, UTF-8.
  • CSV/TSV: a comma, tab, semicolon or pipe delimiter is detected.

4. Following the import

The import is queued and you follow its progress on the Sync History page, which refreshes itself. When the import ends the analysis starts and the result arrives on Overview. You can cancel a running import from its run page.

Automatic, scheduled imports do not exist yet; you start every import.
