Catalogue quality for your Etsy listings, with Catalogtopia

Today: the Etsy listings file (CSV)

On Etsy, download your listings file with Shop Manager → Settings → Options → Download Data → Download CSV. In Catalogtopia, choose the Etsy (CSV) card when you first set up (later: Add catalog → CSV file (upload)) and upload the file under Data Sources. According to Etsy the file holds your active listings only. Catalogtopia checks your listings and gives you a fix package: for each listing, the values to copy and paste in Shop Manager. What Etsy's bulk edit tool can do is listed apart from what is done listing by listing.

Rules, no prices

Every suggestion follows a fixed rule taken from Etsy's own listing rules: the title's length and characters, the number of tags and their repeats, materials, description, photos and SKU. No text is written for you, no price is suggested, and we change nothing in your Etsy shop.

Etsy API connection Planned

Connecting your shop through Etsy's secure connection (OAuth) and writing a fix you approve to the listing. Only three permissions will be asked for: reading your listings, seeing that the connected shop is yours, and writing a fix you approve to the listing. Listing content from Etsy is never shown more than 6 hours older than on Etsy; when you disconnect, everything taken from Etsy is deleted. This connection is not open at the moment.

What we don't do

• No market or competitor analysis; no other shops' data and no comparison between shops.
• We don't sell Etsy data or give it to third parties.
• We don't train machine-learning models with Etsy data.
• We don't scrape the Etsy site and use no browser extension.
• We don't ask for buyer, order, e-mail or address data.
